THE SHORT STORY
The Royals hit the road once again, taking on Jacksonville for the first of two Florida matchups this week. Kasey Kidwell started off hot with a 12-point first quarter, propelling the grad transfer to a career-high 24 points. Queens would ultimately fall short, 79-67. 
 
BY THE NUMBERS

• Kasey Kidwell has been hot as of late, earning her sixth-consecutive double-digit performance, including a career-high 24 points. 
• Efficiency was the name of the game for Jordyn Weaver, who netted 18 points on 8-10 shooting (80%).
• In an increased role, Kinley Brown saw 25 minutes, totaling 10 points including two made threes.
• Hawa Balde-Camara continues to wreak havoc in the paint, finishing with another three blocks on the evening.

"What a fun game to watch, play in & coach" said head coach Jen Brown. "Today was a game of runs; I thought Kasey Kidwell, Jordyn Weaver, Kinley Brown and Jaylynn Brown were huge for us. We showed great toughness battling back from 15 down. We're playing hard and competing. Moving forward, we will focus on taking better care of the ball and knocking down our freethrows".
