Goic Rips Four Shots in ASUN Opener at Stetson

DELAND, FLA. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team (0-3 overall, 0-1 ASUN) dropped their ASUN opener to the Stetson Hatters (1-1-1, 1-0 ASUN) by a final score of 2-0 on Saturday night. In the ASUN Game of the Week, the Hatters used a second half goal and a penalty kick to sneak past the visiting Royals at the Athletic Training Center.

Turning Point
Following a scoreless opening half, the turning point of the evening was the Hatters first goal in the 66th minute off the foot of Luis Lara Delgado. Stetson would add to their lead in the 82nd minute when Lewis Scattergood executed a penalty kick following a Royals foul in the box.
