WEST POINT. N.C.- The seventh-ranked Queens University of Charlotte men's rugby team suffered a 28-12 loss on Friday night to No. 1 Army West Point on the road.

The first half left the Royals scoreless as Army jumped to a 21-0 lead. However, Queens tried to spark the comeback as they scored 12 unanswered to make it a nine-point game late in the second half. The Royals' spurt would be short lived as the Black Knights scored another conversion to make the final score 28-12.

The Royals will look to bounce back as they face Kutztown University at home on Saturday, October 1. This will Queens' first ever matchup between the Bears.
