CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The third-ranked Queens University of Charlotte women's lacrosse team will face No. 13 University of Tampa on Mar. 5 at 11 a.m. in the Crown Lacrosse Classic.

The Royals' game with the Spartans will kick off the event which will feature four total games. This is the eighth meeting between the pair who haven't seen each out since the 2019 season when the Royals defeated Tampa 16-15 to advance to the national semifinals for the first time in program history.

Queens enters the game on a four-game winning streak to start the season after picking up a pair of key wins last weekend over No. 22 Saint Leo and No. 6 Florida Southern. The Spartans are 2-2. 

Tickets for the event can be purchased here. Games will take place at the newly renovated American Legion Memorial Stadium located just outside of Uptown Charlotte.
