Game One: Queens 17 | Coker 3

Queens got off to a hot start scoring five runs in the first inning, getting things going with a run scored by left fielder Gerlea Patton on an error made by the Cobras catcher. An RBI single followed for Kaylee DeJesus and Kayla Smith rounded the action out sending a ball over the center-field wall with two runners on base.

The Royals then put three more runs on the board to lead 8-0 in the top of the fourth.

Coker's Bailey Douglas recorded three RBI after hitting a homer to center field in the bottom of the fourth to get her team on the board. However, the Royals responded scoring nine runs in the top of the fifth to solidify their victory. Smith recorded her second home run of the game to cap Queens' scoring in game one.

Smith finished the game with five RBI while going 3-of-4 at the plate. The Royals finished the game with 17 runs off of 15 hits and recorded 14 RBI.

Queens carried the momentum from game one into game two as Jordan Hunt opened up the scoring with a triple to left field that plated two baserunners.

A wild pitch in the top of the third then allowed Patton to score before DeJesus recorded an RBI on a sacrifice bunt to help Staley score a run. An RBI double from Hunt then gave the Royals a 5-0 lead.

The Royals closed their scoring with two more runs in the fifth before the Cobras got on the board with a home run in the seventh.
