Queens opened the third set with a kill by J.P. Payne from
Daniel Leitao, and the Red Flash responded with one of their own. Another service error from the Royals gave the Red Flash some power moving forward as they racked up three more kills and a service ace from Ryan Parker. The Royals seemed to keep up, going back and forth and taking advantage of more errors from the Red Flash. Saint Francis University held up their side of the court, however, forcing a Queens timeout after back-to-back kills and a pair of Queens errors. Coming out of the timeout, the Royals just could not find their footing as the Red Flash served several kills and two service aces in route to a straight set sweep.
