The Short Story:Â The Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team captured the 2022 Rose Hall Division Championship at the Jamaica Classic as
Jay'Den Turner led the way with a career-high 23 points.

Jay'Den Turner led the Royals with a game-high 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting while also pulling down seven rebounds.

Kenny Dye continued to dominate dropping 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including a perfect 3-for-3 mark from behind the arc. The senior also dished out five assists.

AJ McKee reached double figures for the fifth straight game scoring 10 points and grabbing a pair of rebounds.
-BJ McLaurin maintained his presence down low tying his season-high with 10 points and matching his career-high with nine rebounds.

Gavin Rains and
Kalib Mathews combined for 11 points and 14 rebounds.
-Queens shot 50-percent from the field and 33-percent from behind the arc while holding the Bears to a 43-percent clip from the field and 26-percent mark from deep.
-The Royals continued to dominate the paint outrebounding Morgan State 42-26.
-Morgan State managed to hang around by forcing 22 Queens turnovers and capitalizing with 23 points off those turnovers.
NOTABLE MOMENTS
-Queens opened the game on 12-2 run as
Jay'Den Turner drained seven points going 3-for-3 shooting and forcing a Morgan State timeout.
-The Royals would open that early lead to as much as 22-2 before Morgan State would respond with a 9-2 run over a five-minute span as the Royals cooled off.
-After taking a 37-25 lead into the break, the Royals would continue to extend their lead as the Bears never came within eight points of the lead for the remainder of the game.

-The Royals defense surrendered 25 points in the first half which was the least amount of points given up in a half since they allowed 21 in the SAC Championship last season against Carson-Newman.
