TEMPE, Ariz. – The Queens University of Charlotte triathlon team raced to a second-place finish this afternoon in the Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championship. This was the Royals' first time competing in the Division I race after winning the last six DII national titles, and they were edged by the now six-time champion Arizona State Sun Devils.
Letizia Martinelli, The CTCA DI All-East Regional Freshman, led the Royals in the race finishing third overall behind a pair of Sun Devils.
