NORFOLK, Va. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team (0-11) tested their strength against No. 14 Old Dominion University (11-2) this afternoon falling 8-0 to the Monarchs on the road.

The top-25 ranked Monarchs got on the board early in today's game scoring less than three minutes into the game on a penalty stroke. Another quick goal followed and they held a 2-0 lead over the Royals in less than five minutes of action. ODU would add three goals to the board in the second quarter to take a 5-0 lead into the half and they would never look back.
