SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE, Va. – The Queens University of Charlotte triathlon competed in the East Regional Qualifier this afternoon repeating as champions. Today's win is the first regional championship for the Royals at the Division I level. It also secured the Royals a spot in the 2022 Women's Triathlon Collegiate National Championship in Tempe, Arizona next month.

Up Next
Queens will take some time to train before traveling to compete in Tempe, Arizona on Nov. 12. This season marks the first time that the Royals will be competing in the Division I field after winning the past six Division II Women's Triathlon Collegiate National Championships.
