CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte women's rugby team won both 7-a-side matches versus Alderson Broaddus by final scores of 24-0 and 29-5.

Match 1: Queens 24 Alderson Broaddus 0

Faith Holley led Queens with two tries to seal the Royals third consecutive shutout victory to start the season. Haven Hawkins and Rachel Holloway scored the first two tries of the night while Jessica Gozlan scored two conversions.

Match 2: Queens 29 Alderson Broaddus 5

Four different Royals scored tries in the second and final match of the night. Holley, Lilly Separ, Cecelia Calhoun, and La'Tya Coleman scored tries while Calhoun, Gozlan, and Mikaela Hall added conversions to pull away to another decisive victory.
