GAFFNEY S.C.- The Queens University women's soccer team (5-1-1, 5-1 SAC) defeated Limestone University (4-2, 4-2 SAC), 1-0, this evening to split the regular-season series. With the victory, the Royals' winning streak extends to four games. Queens also closes the regular season tied for first place in the league.

Following a scoreless first half that saw just shot on goal, Queens'
Karen Juarez would find the back of the net for the Royals in the 58
th minute of play.
Megan Eastep was credited with the assist on the score that would eventually be today's game-winner avenging the Royals' lone regular-season loss.

Limestone tried to respond placing two shots on goal in the remaining minutes of play, but Queens'
Erica Turner would turn both attempts away to keep her team in front. Turner finished with three saves this evening to collect her fifth clean sheet of the year.

The Royals now wait to see who they will face on Monday, April 5 in the quarterfinal round of the South Atlantic Conference Championship.
