CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's tennis team ran its current win streak to five with a 5-2 victory over NCAA Division I North Carolina A&T on Friday afternoon at the Howard Levine Tennis Center.
 
The Aggies earned a point in doubles play, winning at Nos. 1 and 2 before the duo of Euan Lynes/Kasper Rolfsen tallied a 6-4 victory in the third flight.
 
In singles play, Yoan Russinove evened the match score with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3 as Berk Enc put the Royals in front with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 4. After a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 2 by Edoardo Cecere, Jan Malmon clinched the match victory with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph in the No. 6 matchup.
 
N.C. A&T's final point came via a three-set win at No. 5 before Edoardo Bottino ended the match in exciting fashion with a 7-5, 3-6, 10-6 victory in the top flight.
 
Queens returns to South Atlantic Conference play tomorrow when the teams hosts Mars Hill University at 1 p.m. in Charlotte.
