CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte women's soccer team (3-1-1, 3-1 SAC) defeated Anderson University (1-3, 1-2 SAC), 1-0, at Dickson Field in their second matchup this season.
Senior defender
Alyssa Bosak scored her first collegiate-career goal for the Royals from long range in the 12th minute of play to give Queens a 1-0 lead early. Her goal would be the only one in the match giving the defender a game-winner as well.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Erica Turner totaled three saves to collect her second-straight shutout win.
The Royals' next game will be Thursday, March 25, against Newberry College. The Senior Day game is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
