Queens Announces Updated Fan Policy

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– The Queens University of Charlotte Department of Athletics has announced its fan attendance policy for upcoming home athletic events in accordance with current local, state, and federal health guidelines.

For all games played at Curry Arena, Tuckaseegee Dream Fields, Dickson Field, and Bessant Field, Queens will be allowing two family members for each student-athlete. Only individuals whose names are on the player/guest pass list will be admitted. At this time, Queens will continue with a no spectator policy for the Howard Levine Tennis Center. No fans or parents from visiting teams will be permitted at Queens home events until further notice.

Following COVID safety protocols, temperature screenings will be done prior to entry. Additionally, social distancing and face coverings are required.

No concessions will be offered, and no food will be permitted within Queens Athletics facilities. Gates will open 45 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled event.

No tailgating is allowed on the premises.

This new policy will go into effect on Thursday, February 25, 2021.

Queens Athletics will continue to stream as many home events as possible on the Queens Sports Network. To keep up with the Royals from home, stream games live on your computer or mobile devices by visiting www.queensathletic.com or downloading the Queens Royals app. Additionally, fans can download the Queens Athletics app on their Roku, Apple TV, or Amazon Fire TV devices. Just type Queens University or Queens University Athletics into the search bar.

This policy is subject to change at any time based on guidelines set forth by the local and state governments and the health, safety, and well-being of our student-athletes, staff, spectators, and community.
