MARS HILL, N.C. –
Kristian Eanes led four Royals in double figures with 23 points, but the Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team (5-23, 4-18 SAC) dropped the final game of its season, 104-70, at Mars Hill University (4-24, 2-20 SAC) on Saturday afternoon.
Taylor Stevens scored 14 points,
Caitlyn Moore scored 12, and
Tia McMillian scored 10.
Mars Hill shot 62.5 percent from the floor, 69.2 percent from the 3-point line (9-13), and 100 percent at the free-throw line (15-15). The Lions were led by 27 points from Tatum Boggs, 24 and nine rebounds from Alexis Pardue, 18 from Hannah Chandler, and 17 and eight rebounds from De'ja Marshall.
Mars Hill outrebounded Queens, 44-29, and outscored the Royals in the paint, 46-24.
Queens shot 33.8 percent from the floor, 37 percent from 3 (10-27), and 66.7 percent at the free-throw line (12-18).
