DURHAM, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte men's rugby team made a statement in its first match of the season, as the Royals won big on the road, 57-8, over Duke University Saturday afternoon.

The Royals were led by freshman Dominic Tianga and junior Ben Osborne who each recorded two tries. Five more Royals each posted one try to the board, including Devinaire Hayes, Stanton Johnson, Rylee Ellsworth, Marshall Frank, and Benjamin Clipstone.

Freshman Carson Green also led the team in conversions with four of his own, while his fellow freshman teammate Ben Stapleton recorded two in the win.
