HICKORY, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte women's golf team completed its 2019 campaign this afternoon with a 10
th-place finish at the South Atlantic Conference Women's Golf Championship. The Royals totaled a three-round score of 964 (321-324-319) finishing behind tournament champion Anderson who carded a 907 (311-298-298). Lenoir-Rhyne claimed second place with a 911 (300-311-300) and Wingate took third with a 914 (301-310-303).
Cameryn Smith closes her career with the Royals finishing tied in 21
st place with a 235 to lead Queens while fellow senior
Natalie Pleyerova completed play tied in 29
th place with a 237.
Charleigh Hodges totaled a 240 to tie for 35
th place and
Sydney Lia's 252 placed her 48
th. Additionally,
Kathleen Gibbs finished the day in 53
rd after scoring a 270.
Carson-Newman's Maeve Cummins took the individual medal after scoring a 219 while Wingate's Diana McDonald finished second with a 222.
