CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's volleyball team collected a three-set sweep for the second time this season, defeating the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-22) on Wednesday inside Curry Arena.
The Royals hit .316 on offense, the third highest mark in a single match this season, to improve to 6-18 overall and complete the season sweep of Lees-McRae. The Bobcats fell to 2-18 after committing 19 attack errors leading to a .098 hitting percentage as Queens continues to rank among the NCAA's Top 10 in opponent hitting percentage.
After a brief tie at 5-5 in the opening set, Queens went on a 14-3 run to build an 11-point lead. A kill from sophomore

Aleksandar Perisic sealed the set win for the Royals.
Lees-McRae led early in the second set before a 7-1 run put Queens ahead by four. The Royals built a lead as large as a 10-point advantage, ending the set on a kill from freshman
Cody Nix. Queens controlled the third and final set from start to finish to collect the match victory.
Graduate student
Jake Dube led all players with 10 kills and nine digs, while Esquivel and freshman
Tristan Santoyo followed with six kills apiece. Freshmen
Ruben Greenstein and
Jack Mitchner each had seven digs as Perisic finished with four total blocks on defense.
Queens continues its four-match homestand next week as the Royals welcome Limestone College to Curry Arena on Thursday, April 5, for a 7 p.m. first serve.
