ELON, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte women's rugby team remains undefeated with a record of 4-0 after winning 29-21 against Elon University Saturday afternoon.

The Royals NSCRO squad was led by junior
Kelsey Lambert with two tries, followed by
Gabriella La Lumia,
Sara Linton, and
Ana Snyder who each scored one try in the match. Sophomore
Tori Wilson also kicked two successful conversions in the win.

Linton scored her only try of the match just three minutes into play and was followed by a conversion from Wilson to make the score 7-0 early. Queens would continue scoring in the first half with tries from Lambert and Snyder and another conversion from Wilson, 19-0. Elon would add points to the board just before halftime to make the score 19-7 heading into the locker room.

La Lumia and Lambert would add the Royals' last two tries of the match in the second half to seal the win at 29-21.

Queens' Division I team will travel next to compete against Kennesaw State University Saturday, October 27. Play is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
