MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team played the first of two games on the road in Millersville, Pa., this afternoon against Millersville University. The Royals fell 2-0 to the Marauders, ranked third in the nation. Queens now sits at 4-5 on the year, while Millersville improves to 10-2.
 
The Marauders found a goal in the 13
th minute from Erica Tarsi in the opening half, and they would hold the 1-0 lead into the halftime break. Tarsi then put another goal on the board in the 54
th to give Millersville a 2-0 lead that they would hold onto until the final horn sounded.
 
Goalkeeper 
Miranda Childers totaled five saves in the loss after facing 18 shots, seven on goal.
 
Queens will be back in action on Tuesday, October 11 against Seton Hill University. They will face the Griffins at 11 a.m. in Millersville, Pa.
