Box Score HICKORY, N.C. – The 13th ranked Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team (13-1, 7-1 SAC) got down by 20 points at the half, but turned on the heat in the second half to comeback and defeat Lenoir-Rhyne (10-4, 5-4 SAC) 105-102 on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.

The Royals were led by
Rob Lewis, who scored 29 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the field and added five assists in the game.
Sean Morgan scored 19 of his 23 points in the second half as he shot 10-of-12 from the field and grabbed seven rebounds.
Kendall Jones was Queens' leading assist man with eight in the game

Queens shot 68.3 percent from the field, including going 26-of-35 from the field in the second half. The Royals scored 21 points off of turnovers and outrebounded the Bears 32-36. Lenoir-Rhyne held a lead for almost 38 minutes of game time, except for the last minute and a half of the game when the Royals took over and completed the comeback.

Lenoir-Rhyne got ahead of Queens early as Reed Lucas made a three pointer to give them a 21-10 lead with 13:38 remaining in the first half. The Royals worked to cut the lead down to five points, 38-33, following a
Jared Hendryx layup with 5:30 to play in the half. The Bears would then close the half on a 21-6 run that was sparked by Will Perry to take a 59-39 lead into halftime.

The Royals found themselves down by 24 points, 70-46, following a made three pointer by Perry with 17:50 to go in the game. Queens then found their identity and went on an extended 26-to-8 run to cut the lead down to only six points with ten minutes still to play in the game. The Bears would hold a lead up until the two-minute mark in the game, when the Royals' Lewis drained a three pointer to tie the game at 98 apiece. Lenoir-Rhyne's Palmore made a layup ten seconds later to give them back the lead, 100-98. Queens would then re-take the lead, this time 101-100, following a corner three from
Todd Withers. A layup by Morgan and two free throws, one from Jones and another from Camps would seal the comeback for the Royals and give them a 105-102 win over the Bears.

Lenoir-Rhyne had three players score at least 20 points in the game, led by Will Perry's 26 points. Perry was only 3-of-10 from the field but was a perfect 17-of-17 from the free throw line. Keenan Palmore added 23 points and nine rebounds and Billy Bales added 20 for the Bears.

Queens returns to action on Saturday, January 16, 2016 as they meet up with Tusculum College in the Levine Center at 4:00 p.m.
