Box Score ANDERSON, S.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte Men's Basketball Team kept their unbeaten streak alive as they defeated the Anderson University Trojans 75-64 on Saturday, December 5th. The win gets the 21st ranked Royals to 7-0 on the season and 2-0 in the South Atlantic Conference.

Sean Morgan scored a career high 30 points to lead the Royals. Morgan went 14-for-23 from the field and also tallied a team-high nine rebounds in the game.
Rob Lewis and
Todd Withers each added 12 points in the win.

The Royals shot 48.4 percent from the field, but only made five of their twenty attempted three pointers in the game. Queens out-rebounded Anderson 42-37 and scored 44 points in the paint.

Anderson had a great start to the game as they held a 19-12 lead following a three pointer by Jeremy Bouton with 11:57 to play in the first half. The Royals would respond as they scored eight straight points, the last scored by Withers' layup, to take a 20-19 lead on the Trojans with 8:32 remaining in the half. Queens continued their hot streak as they went on another run, this time a 6-0 run that was sparked by fast-break layups by
Marquis Rankin and Lewis to extend their lead to 30-24 with 4:46 to go in the half. Anderson's Maurice Howard would score the last points of the half to make the score 36-31 in favor of the Royals.

Queens' lead would get cut down to only one point, 42-41 following a Bouton jumper with 15:52 remaining in the second half. The Royals would respond once again as they went on yet another 6-0 run to increase the lead to 48-41 following a jumper by Morgan with 13:03 left on the clock.
Daniel Camps threw down a monster one-handed dunk with 8:18 on the clock to give the Royals a 54-49, but a technical foul was called at the end of the play, so two made free throws and a basket by Anderson would cut the lead by down to one point for the Royals. This would be the last time Queens would allow the game to be close as Morgan would continue to be dominant in the paint and the Royals would knock down their last four free throws to give them the 75-64 road victory.

Anderson was led offensively by Jeremy Bouton who scored 19 points in the game, 15 of which came from beyond the arc. The Trojans had three other players who scored at least 10 points, including Rakish Taylor who scored 12 and led the team in rebounding as he gathered in 14 rebounds in the game.

The Royals will look to keep their winning streak alive as they go on the road to take on the Coker Cobras on Wednesday, December 9th. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
