Elizabeth Bialkowski was selected to the 2014 Eckerd Classic All-Tournament Team on Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Â Bialkowski was selected to the team by Eckerd Classic Tournament coaches based off of her outstanding performance across all four of the Royals matches.
A junior from Raleigh, N.C., Bialkowski tallied 34 kills on the weekend gathering an attacking percentage of .278. Â The middle hitter seized eight kills in the Daemen and Florida Tech matches, and nine kills in the Mary and Nova matches. With 34 kills overall, Bialkowski lead the Royals in the category and helped the team to put together a strong offensive fight.Â
Bialkowski also set a new record for her career breaking her previous game high of four service aces with six aces coming in the Nova Southeastern match. She pursued ten aces during the entire weekend.
Tying in most blocks with
Rebecca Cochran, Bialkowski tallied six total during the tournament, two of which were solo blocks.
Bialkowski joins Allison Adams of the University of Mary, Elisabeth Andino Cruz of the UPR-Rio Piedras, Sydney Cook of Nova Southeastern, Lindsey Nowak of Daemen College, Milica Tapuskovic of Florida Institute of Technology, and Emily Schadow of Eckerd College as the All-Tournament selectees.
