Volleyball team drops match against Lenoir-Rhyne

Box Score HICKORY, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte volleyball team faced off against the Bears of Lenoir-Rhyne in a regional matchup today. Queens was unable to overcome Lenoir-Rhyne's strong play, and dropped the match in three sets by the scores of 27 -25, 25-14, and 25-22.
 
Queens was led offensively by freshmanElizabeth Bialkowski (Millbrook) with 10 kills on a .316 hitting percentage. Fellow freshman McKenzie Martin (Stratford) also was a leader in the stat book with 29 assists. Defensively junior Jocelyn Kellinger (Cave Spring) led the way with 13 digs, and was joined in double digits by Brittney Barren (Blaine) with 10.
 
Following today's action Queens' record stands at 8-7 overall, and 3-1 in conference play. The Royals return to the court Saturday when they travel to Pfeiffer to take on the Falcons.
