Julia Wennerlund (Bjarred, Sweden, Polhemskolan) led the Royals in Pfeiffer's Dana Rader Intercollegiate at the Ballantyne Golf Course to an eighth place team finish. Wennerlund finished the two-round event tied for 14
th after shooting 161 (76-85).
Newberry won the 14-team event by shooting 624, besting second place UNC-P by 26 strokes. Anderson led the six Conference Carolinas competitors in third place.
As a team Queens carded a total of 679 for their eighth place finish, down four spots from their fourth place position after the first round.
In addition to Wennerlund's top 20 finish,
Camilla Mallberg (Stockholm, Sweden, Danderyds Gymnasium) ended the event in a tie for 16
th place after shooting 163 (77-86).
Sophie Dembroski of Anderson won the individual title after shaving eight strokes from her first round, 78, to her second, 70, to end with 148.
