Men’s Golf Wraps Up Bobcat Invitational

Royals play at Wingate this weekend

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Queens men's golf team wrapped up a three-round tournament at Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee, hosted by Georgia College and State University. The Royals placed 17th out of 18 teams at The Bobcat Invitational. No.8 Georgia College and State University won the tournament by shooting 859=284-288-287.

Queens shot a three-round low of 302 on the final day. As a team the Royals finished with a scorecard total of 926 (314-310-302).

Scott Kegerreis (Chambersburg, Pa., Chambersburg) led the Queens men with by finishing in a tie for 48th place with a total of 228. Four strokes behind Kegerreis was Robert Andrew Hodge (Hebron, Ky., Conner) with 231. The low round for the Royals was a 74, shot by Kegerreis during the second round and Hodge and David Bainbridge (England, Thomas Alleynes) during the third.

Queens will play again on March 30-31 at the Wingate Invitational.
