Caroline Arakelian (Livonia, Mich., Livonia Stevenson) of the women's swim team has been selected as the November InterCon Student-Athlete of the after helpin the Royals achieve the second overall national ranking in the nation.

Arakelian has already qualified for the NCAA Championships in multiple events and has set school records in the 100 and 400 IM, the 200 Backstroke, as well as helping four of five relays qualify for the NCAA Championships. Arakelian has also been awarded CollegeSwimming.com swimmer of the week and is undefeated in all three events against both Division I and II swimmers.
