Mary Stringini (Shorewood, Minn, Minnetonka) of the women's soccer team has been selected as the October InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month after helping the Royals go 5-4 during the month. 

"Mary stepped on the field as a freshman and played a huge role in the Royals' attack this season," said Coach Katie Talbert. 

Stringini notched five goals and six assists in October earning second team all-conference honors. She was also named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week following the final week of the regular season. Stringini finished the season ranked first in the league in assists and fourth in points.
