Laurenz Blickwede, a freshman, played a significant role in the Royals' perfect 8-0 record in the month of April. The rookie has helped extend the program's winning streak to a new record 11 consecutive matches. Additionally, Blickwede helped the Royals secure their third SAC Regular Season title and third SAC Tournament Championship. The Gifhorn, Germany native posted a 5-1 record in singles play, primarily from the No. 5 court, and a 6-1 record in doubles play from the No. 1 court. Blickwede was named the SAC Tournament MVP becoming the first Royal to earn the honor since Per-Erik Soler in 2016.
