Kimone Hewitt has been selected as the November InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month after leading the Royals to their second consecutive NCAA Division II Southeast Region Championship Team Title with a runner-up performance in the 189-man field. 

The Royals scored a low 39-points impressively crushing runner-up Montevallo’s 140-points and 24 other region teams. Hewitt earned NCAA All-Region First Team honors and aided her team’s qualification to the NCAA championships.

At the NCAA National Championships, Kimone again led the Royals to a school record 10^th place team finish with her 42^nd place performance in the field of 200-plus qualifiers.
