Martin Knauer, a senior thrower, earned his fourth SAC Championship Field Athlete of the Meet honor during the month after helping the Royals capture their sixth SAC Championship. He set the SAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship shot put record with a toss of 18.21 meters taking first place in the event. Knauer also took second in the discus and javelin throws while finishing third in the hammer throw with a personal best mark of 48.46-meters (159-0).
