Junior Felix Wammetsberger of the men's track & field team has been named March Intercon Male Student-Athlete of the Month.

Wammetsberger earns the honor after winning the men’s mile national title at the NCAA DII Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championships. Wammetsberger recorded a time of 4:11.18 to win the title and earn all-American honors.

Additionally, Wammetsberger didn’t skip a beat when the outdoor season began clocking the fifth fastest 5,000-meter time in the nation at 14:19.67 at the Raleigh Relays.
