Sydney Kunz of the women's volleyball team has been named November InterCon Female Student-Athlete of the Month.

Kunz led Queens to its first ever South Atlantic Conference Women’s Volleyball Championship and was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player in the process. The senior guided the Royals to a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Southeast Regional after starting all eight matches during the month and averaging 11.70 assists per set as well as 3.30 digs per set and 13 service aces.
 
She was also recognized by the AVCA and D2CCA as an All-Region performer and garnered All-State accolades from the NCCSIA. Kunz finished her Queens career as the program’s all-time leader in sets played (470), total assists (4,135) and service aces (154). Her 1,114 career digs rank fourth in program history.
