Rush Dickson has joined the women's lacrosse coaching staff this Spring 2016 after most recently working with Team 24/7; a select program in Charlotte, N.C.
Originally from Charlotte, Dickson returned to home this past summer to work with Team 24/7. His previous stop was in Knoxville, Tenn., with the West Knox Warriors serving as the defensive coach for two years.
He helped the Warriors program reach the playoffs both years as the defense ranked 13th in goals allowed (8.5 goals/game); improving from 19th in 2014.
"I very much appreciate Coach Blankenship and her coaching staff allowing me to volunteer with the Queens program this year," said Dickson. "To learn from three great coaching minds is an incredible opportunity in pursuing my own goals of coaching within the college ranks. I cannot express my excitement and eagerness to get started with the 2016 season."
Prior to beginning his coaching career at the middle school, junior varsity and varsity levels, Dickson was a member of the University of Tennessee men's club lacrosse team.
Dickson earned his degree from Tennessee in 2012 after majoring in journalism and electronic media.
