For two years, Burdette served as the primary contact for the Cavaliers' men's basketball, volleyball, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's cross country, and women's lacrosse programs. Burdette published all game recaps and stories on the official athletics website while also creating and designing social media collateral for their official social media channels. In early 2023, Burdette promoted All-American basketball guard Bradley Dean throughout his UVA Wise tenure and earned "Second in the Nation" honors in the annual College Sports Communicators Digital Design contest for her winter sports statistical milestone graphic.

Since joining Queens, Burdette has continued to elevate athlete recognition through her communications work, including leading media coverage for the men’s swimming & diving program during its 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference Championship season. During the 2024 Royals softball season, she promoted standout sophomore pitcher Autumn Courtney, who was named Preseason Atlantic Sun Pitcher of the Year and consistently led the country in strikeouts. Courtney went on to earn Academic All-ASUN and Second-Team All-ASUN honors.

In addition to her professional duties, Chloe serves on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Committee for Division I Baseball and Division I Men’s Swimming, helping recognize top-performing student-athletes nationwide, and has spent the past five years working for The Scorer’s Table as a statistician across multiple sports throughout Virginia, Kentucky, South Carolina, and North Carolina, including experience supporting Kentucky men’s basketball, Michigan State women’s basketball, Ole Miss women’s basketball, Wichita State men’s basketball, and Duquesne basketball.

In the summer of 2024, Burdette was awarded the College Sports Communicators™ (CSC) Convention Grant. She supported the convention’s operations team on-site in Las Vegas and was a featured panelist, sharing expertise and practical insights to inspire and guide aspiring athletic communicators early in their careers.

Prior to joining the Cavaliers, Burdette spent four years in The College of Wooster athletic department as a sports information director student assistant. Burdette administered technical support for online web streaming of varsity contests, served as a public address announcer, and provided website maintenance. Additionally, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Wooster Voice, a newspaper publication in Wooster, Ohio. As the head writer for the sports section, Burdette reviewed articles slated for publication and headed weekly content meetings.

A native of Howard, Ohio, Burdette began her career in sports as a production crew and creative services intern for the Akron RubberDucks, the Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians. With the team, Burdette administered support for all streams while also creating a marketing and sales schedule for all themed-home events at Canal Park.

Burdette received a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from The College of Wooster in 2021. She is currently on track to complete her master's degree in Sport Management from the University of Florida.
