2013:  Competed in 4 matches for the Royals.. recorded 27 points.

High School: Attended Southlake Christian Academy during her junior and senior years and the Cary Christian School her freshman and sophomore years...Played club for Triangle, NC Elite and Carolina Junior’s...Named to the NCISAA EPIC All-Conference Team in addition to being named NCISAA EPIC Conference Player of the Year and Team MVP...Named to the 2011 and 2010 NCISAA Metrolina All-Conference Teams, the 2011 3A All-State Team, the 2010 and 2009 2A All-State Team, while also being named a two-time Most Outstanding Contributor for South Lake Christian, a 2011 Oasis All-Star, the Charlotte Observer Lake Norman Player of the Year and the Huntersville Herald Player of the Year...Served as team captain.

I live on Lake Norman and I’d take a lake day over beach day any day!

Who is your role model?
My parents are both equally my role models in different ways. My dad works harder than any man I know to provide for me and my family, and my mom is the sweetest, most kind-hearted woman I’ve ever known. They are both truly amazing.
 
Why did you choose that major?
I love working with and around people to achieve a common goal.
 
What is your favorite place on QU’s campus?
The Quad of South Lawn.
 
Why do you love Queens?
I love everything about QU. The beautiful campus, the small classes, the amazing volleyball team, the fact that you can make it to class if you wake up 5 minutes before it starts, the closeness of the athletic community, the true passion that our professors have for teaching, and of course the coffee shop.
 
What is your favorite volleyball moment?
My favorite moment was our first game in the Levine Center. Although I couldn’t play because of my shoulder injury, it was still an amazing atmosphere. There were hundreds of people and our new gym was just glowing. It felt amazing to have a home and it didn’t hurt that we took a game off of Wingate.
 
What do you want to be remembered for at QU?
I want to be the player who could fall down 7 times and get up 8. I want to be the player that could come back from anything and be better than before. I want to be the player that my teammates want to be on the court with. I want to be the player that lifted my teammates up and never brought them down. I want to be known as the player who never gave up.
