What is something interesting about you? I love ducks, especially Donald Duck!

Who is your role model? My great grandmother, Gigi Betty Rodgers. She was a woman of her own; powerful, polite, beautiful, and full of love. She is someone who had traditional manners and to me she acted like she was royalty. I think about her all the time and ask myself in tough situations, what would Gigi do and how would she go about making this right.

Why do you love Queens? We are a strong team with many diverse talents and when we are in sync we are unbeatable. We are a family like no other and it can never be broken. It’s not just a college volleyball team but it’s teammates that become friends that act like sisters and sisters that never lose touch with each other.

What do you want to be remembered for at Queens? As an underdog; one who doesn’t physically fit a certain profile but worked hard and when told to compete, I fought and won.

What is your favorite place on Queens campus?
The quad. It’s relaxing.
