Caroline Kannel enters her fourth season with the Royals after spending two seasons at Wingate University. While with the Bulldogs, she served as the primary athletic trainer for volleyball and softball. She also assisted with the basketball and football teams while there.

Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Kannel gained clinical experience at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse while earning a bachelor's degree in athletic training. She is currently working towards a master's degree from California University of Pennsylvania in exercise science and health promotion and performance enhancement and injury prevention/rehabilitation science.
