Biography

2013: Appeared in 44 games...Posted a batting avg of .245 with 34 hits and 14 RBIs....Recorded a .933 fielding percentage.

2012: Appeared in 52 games for the Royals...Posted a batting avg of .252 with 35 hits and 17 RBIs...Tied  for second on the team with 10 doubles and recorded two HRs...Had an OBP of .329 and stole one base on the season...Had a .810 fielding percentage...Named to the Conference Carolinas All-Conference First Team.

2011: Started all 39 games…Tied for first on the team with RBI’s (31) and games played, and games started (39)…Tied for third for stolen bases (3)…Third for hits (30)…Fifth for batting average (.273)

2010: Appeared in 50 of 51 games while starting 49…hit for .221 on the season…best performance at the plate was against Columbus State when she posted and average of .333 by going 3-4 with one RBI…a Concord on Feb. 27 she was 2-4 with 4 RBI, one homerun and one double (.314 in the game).

High School: Attended Sussex Technical High School for her freshman and sophomore seasons...While there, her efforts earned her the Freshman Junior Varsity MVP award...In her sophomore season she helped the team win the Delaware State Championship...Batting average in her sophomore year was one of the highest on the team and she scored the game winning run in the championship game...Named to the All-Conference First Team for third base upon transferring to Sussex Central...Also named to the All-State Honorable Mention Team and won another state championship which made her the only person in Delaware to receive two back-to-back state titles from two different high schools...Finished her junior season with the highest batting average on the team at .511...Had the least amount of strikeouts on the team...Lathbury’s travel team, the Delaware Diamonds, has won three Delaware State Championships for National Softball Association, and they came in eighth place twice in the 16U NSA Nationals and second place in the 18U NSA Nationals...Been named to the honor roll multiple times and earned the Distinguished Performance Award...Was also named to Who’s Who Registry of Academic Excellence.

Personal: Born on May 26, 1991...Daughter of Stephen and Melissa Lathbury...Majoring in psychology.
