2010: Finished 1-1 in singles, 0-1 in doubles...Defeated teammate Edwin Ramirez  3-6, 6-4, 10-8 in the Consolation round of the Conference Carolinas Individual Tournament.

High School:  The senior captain helped lead his team to its second consecutive Class 3A State Championship this past year...Is a four year letterman whose team was also district and regional champions all four years of his high school career..Was a Class 3A Individual State Finalist his junior and senior year going undefeated in competition both years...Won the Big Cat Award which is given to the top athletes at Wharton High along with the Most Improved Tennis Player Award during his junior year...Was awarded the Tennis Coach’s Award for having the best attitude on the team as a freshman...The Pepsi Scholar Athlete Award recipient is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes where he has been a leader for two years...Has been on the Principal’s Honor Roll every semester and is a member of the National Honor Society...Was inducted in to the BETA Club with a 4.5 GPA his senior year and won the AP Scholar Award his junior year.
