Green is in his first season as the throws coach for the Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track and field teams. Green will also oversee the strength and conditioning programs for the entire track and field program. He will also serve as a strength and conditioning coach for two other teams during the year.
Previously Green served as the throws coach at Washington and Lee in Virginia. Green came to W&L from Heidelberg University where he served as a graduate assistant track & field coach from 2015-17. While there, he earned a masters of business administration. He also holds a bachelor of science degree in sport management from Ohio Dominican University, graduating in December of 2014.
Green still holds the school shot put record at Ohio Dominican and he still ranks second in the hammer throw. In addition to his experience as a student-athlete, Green served as a sports information intern at ODU and was a member of the athletics event staff. He also served as a volunteer assistant track & field coach for the 2014-15 school year. For the summer of 2014, he also served as the throws coach with the Pacesetters Track & Field Club in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
