Blake Childers joined the Royals as head men's golf coach in the fall of 2023. 

2024-25
  • Won the Georgia State Invitational
  • Won the Lady Bison Invitational
  • Jillian Fatkin named ASUN Golfer of the Week three times
  • Grace Vetter named ASUN Golfer of the Week
  • Two players named All-ASUN Teams
  • Jillian Fatkin named First Team All-ASUN and Freshman Team
  • Grace Vetter named Second Team All-ASUN and Freshman Team
  • Finished Ninth at ASUN Championship - Women's 

2023
  • Highest team finish was 7th at the Bryan National Collegiate
  • Ed Davis, Clayson Good, and Drake Wilcox each recorded one top-10 finish
  • Team low round of 268 in second round of Elon Phoenix Invitational
  • John Fahey and Drake Wilcox each recorded low rounds of 65 during the season
  • John Fahey and Clayton Good tied for 12th at ASUN Championship
  • Queens finished 8th at ASUN Championship

  • College Golf Fellowship and FCA Golf - developing and mentoring collegiate and junior golfers for nearly eight years.  
  • Quail Hollow Club - Associate golf professional at for just over three years.
  • PGA Professional with experience working multiple PGA Tour sanctioned events.
  • Hound Ears Club - Assistant golf professional with the, a private club in Boone, N.C., since 2018.
  • Seasonal positions at the Ewa Beach Golf Club and the Cedarbrook Country Club pro shop.
 
Personal
Childers is a 2018 graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University where he was a member of the men’s golf team. The four-year letterman was also a member of the SAAC for the Bears. He graduated with a degree in sports management.
