Andrew Serketich Headshot

Andrew Serketich

Andrew Serketich returned to the Royals at the helm of the men’s golf program ahead of the 2017-18 season after serving as the associate head men’s golf coach from 2010-2014.

In the Royals' first season at the Division I level, Serketich led the Royals to nine top-10 finishes. Additionally, Ollie Smith was the first Royals named to the ASUN All-Conference Team.

Serketich led the Royals to the NCAA Championships in their final season at the Division II level. Their appearance followed a first place finish at the SAC Championships.

Serketich led the Royals to a third place finish at the SAC Championships during the 2020-21 season. The Royals' 2019-20 season was cut short due to COVID-19. During that season, the Royals saw themselves ranked in the top-25 led by Taisuke Ono who eventually earned PING All-American honors.

During the 2018-19 season, Serketich was able to lead the Royals back to the NCAA Championships. It was their third appearance in program history and came after the Royals were able to capture their first SAC Championship title. Jonathan Noble and Taisuke Ono were both named to the SAC All-Conference team while Noble also made an appearance on the PING All-Region team.

In his previous stint at Queens, Serketich was an integral part of the Royals’ success playing a major role in program marketing and recruiting. He also had a hand in the day-to-day operations of the program, and played a key role in creating, planning, and completing five tournaments hosted by the Royals in Florida at TPC Sawgrass. Highlighting his previous time with the Royals was the program's first NCAA Championship appearance as a team in 2010. Queens then followed that appearance with a pair of Conference Carolinas Championships, winning in 2011 and 2013.

Prior to becoming the associate head men’s golf coach, Serketich served as the assistant coach to both the men’s and women’s programs from 2008-2010. The 2007 Queens graduate was also a member of the men’s golf team earning team captain honors during both his junior and senior seasons. After receiving a bachelor’s degree and Professional Golf Management Certification in 2007, Serketich went on to earn his MBA from the McColl School of Business in 2012.

In his time away from Queens, Serketich spent his time working in marketing at Daimler Trucks North America and Red Moon Marketing.
