CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team fought back to tie the game in the fourth quarter of today's match with La Salle University, forcing overtime before losing 3-2 in a shootout. The Royals' record moves to 1-5 on the year, while the Explorers improve to 1-4.

The Royals trailed 2-0 at the half after the Explorers scored in each of the first and second quarters. Queens continued to play from behind into the fourth quarter, where
Grace Wagner put the Royals on the board with a goal in the 52
nd minute. Maddi Just then tied it at 2-2, scoring in the 59th minute off a penalty corner to force overtime.
Following two scoreless overtime periods, La Salle's Tilly Diedrichsen scored the lone goal in the shootout to secure the win for the Explorers.
