Queens split Saturday's doubleheader at North Florida, taking game one behind strong pitching and timely hitting before falling in the nightcap as the Ospreys used two big innings to pull away.

Game 1: Queens 4, North Florida 2

• Queens plated one in the first and broke things open with a three-run second, highlighted by a two-RBI single from Lindsay Henson.

• The Royals added a run in the fifth, but the Ospreys answered with two more in the bottom half and added an insurance run in the sixth.
• Defensive miscues proved costly as Queens committed four errors in the loss.
