CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte 2025 triathlon schedule has been released ahead of the Royals returning to campus next month.
Queens will knock the rust off in the ETSU Aquathlon on August 29, before competing in the Lake Davidson Collegiate Cup on September 14.
Queens will then jump straight into postseason, looking to secure their fourth consecutive East Regional Championship title in Lake Norman on October 25. The National Championship will follow on November 8, back in Tempe, Arizona.
"Kicking off the season at ETSU with a quick-n-fast super-sprint will be a fun team-builder and give our three freshmen a taste of collegiate racing intensity," Queens director of triathlon
Sonni Dyer stated. "From there, all training prep goes to ready for the Lake Davidson Collegiate Cup to maximize our ranking for October's East Regional at Lake Norman. Finally, we travel back to Tempe in November for our fourth national championship as a D1 program. We're excited to kick it all off in just over a month."
The Royals will look to capture their first DI national championship in Tempe this year, after finishing third a season ago. Queens finished second at the 2022 and 2023 championship events. Additionally, the Royals have five triathletes returning who competed at the championships last November, including top-five finisher
Beth Cook. Cook, along with
Livia Wespe and
Weronika Ptaszynska, earned CTCA All-American honors.
