Olympians Made Here: Seth Rider and Team USA Earn Silver in Mixed Team Relay

RESULTS

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Seth Rider of Team USA has become the first Royal to medal at an Olympic Games after the triathlete was a member of the mixed relay team that took silver at The Olympic Games Paris 2024.

Rider competed in the first leg of the race for the Americans who recorded a time of 1:25:40, edging out Great Britain at the finish for the silver medal.

"So proud of Seth and the entire USA Mixed Relay squad," said Queens Director of Triathlon Sonni Dyer. "His lead-off leg set Team USA up to race for a medal. Seth had the presence of mind to be in the front of the group going into the 180-turn in which France and New Zealand crashed and saw their medal chances fade. Well done, Seth Rider!"

The mixed team relay wraps performances for the Royals at this year's Summer Olympic Games.
