CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Ashley Fowler has stepped down as the Queens University of Charlotte head women's golf coach, Queens Director of Athletics
Cherie Swarthout announced.
"I want to thank Ashley for the contributions she has made to our women's golf program during the first two years of our Division I transition," Swarthout stated. "We wish her the best."
Fowler joined the Royals ahead of the 2022-23 season, coming from North Alabama. This past spring, she led the Royals to their highest team finish at the ASUN Championships. Additionally, she guided
Emelia Pack in her efforts as she set a new a program low for a 54-hole event, carding a 218 last season.
Fowler completed her undergraduate playing career at Charlotte as a member of their inaugural women's golf team. The program ranked as high as No. 7 nationally and captured three tournament titles with Fowler on the roster.
The search for a new head coach is currently underway.
