CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte Royals had current student-athlete Matej Dusa swimming in the 50-meter Freestyle event The Olympic Games Paris 2024.
Matej Dusa swam for Team Slovakia, finishing in 39th place. Dusa finished with a time of 22.64, racing in Heat 6 of the event.
Australian swimmer Cameron McEvoy finished in the top spot of the event with a time of 21.32.
"I am just incredibly thankful I could experience the Games and represent Slovakia," Dusa said. "I know this result didn't reflect the work I've put in and I could have done better if it wasn't for a mistake on the dive. These Olympic Games have been a lesson I needed on the way to higher goals."
